This page explains how CRYPTON IT PTY LTD (ABN 70 602 092 946), trading as CRYPTON, handles information when you use this website, complete an IT Health Check or send an enquiry.

Last updated: 31 October 2026

Information you provide

Your IT Health Check answers stay in your browser. They are not sent to CRYPTON or saved automatically, and they disappear when you leave or refresh the page. Before your checklist appears, we ask for your contact details: we receive those details and which check you took, not your answers. If you choose to copy your checklist into an enquiry message, we receive it as part of your enquiry and use it only to respond to you.

When you send an enquiry or enter your details to see an IT Health Check checklist, CRYPTON may receive your name, business email, business or practice name, optional phone number, communication permissions and any message you add.

How it is used

CRYPTON uses website information to respond to enquiries, follow up about your request, your IT Health Check and relevant services, send IT tips, service updates and offers to people who separately choose marketing emails, maintain website and service security, and improve the website experience.

Service providers and overseas processing

CRYPTON uses service providers that support forms, CRM, hosting, email, security, analytics, and controlled business records. Some processing occurs outside Australia, including in the United States. Provider support teams and subprocessors may also operate in other countries.

Retention

CRYPTON retains enquiry, request and consent records for as long as needed to respond, manage the relationship and meet legal, security and record-keeping requirements. You can contact us about access, correction or deletion. Questionnaire answers are not retained by CRYPTON.

Security

CRYPTON uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational controls to protect website information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and HubSpot to understand how people use this website. They set cookies and record which pages are visited, the type of device and browser, the approximate location (city or country), and which buttons, links and forms are used. Clarity also records how pages are scrolled and clicked, so we can find parts of the site that are hard to use. Clarity does not run on the IT Health Check, and it does not see anything typed into forms.

If you send an enquiry or enter your details for a checklist, HubSpot links your earlier visits to this website with that request, so we can respond with context. Analytics never record your IT Health Check answers. We don't sell this information.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on.

Access, correction, deletion, and questions

Send privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, or complaints to [email protected] or call (02) 9000 1824. Security-incident reports can be sent to [email protected]. We will review the issue and respond within a reasonable time.
